Vacancy Description

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College is a leading provider of education and training to students, employers and communities across the midlands. Our future success is underpinned by our ambitious strategic plan to become the lead college in Coventry University’s new FE company, a core part of their rapidly expanding global education family (subject to Secretary of State approval). This exciting opportunity has the potential to yield huge benefits for our students, our staff and our business growth and sustainability in the years to come and the successful candidate, as Principal, will play a pivotal part in the new organisation’s long-term success.

Reporting to, and working collaboratively with, the Chief Executive, you will focus on shaping the College’s curriculum and quality agendas whilst promoting innovative teaching and learning to deliver an exceptional student experience. You will take accountability for organisation-wide strategic initiatives, employer relationships and will thrive in a role where you can genuinely influence and develop a culture of excellence across a geographically dispersed operational environment.

The role requires an outstanding and innovative educational leader to support the College’s ambitions, demonstrating a total focus on performance, standards and student outcomes whilst challenging existing practices and implementing new initiatives. Your collaborative and engaging leadership style will empower and inspire, as will your passion for positive change to enable the College to achieve outstanding results. Already a successful curriculum leader, you will bring an impressive track record of success, gained within a leading FE institution, with the ambition and drive required to ensure the College delivers for students, employers and the communities it serves.
