This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support team, where you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure all learners within your remit successfully achieve their highest potential.
As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning you will plan and deliver engaging lessons for learners with SEND, this will include employability skills and Maths and English, from Entry Level to Level 2. You will also plan and deliver a range of vocational taster sessions for learners with SEND.
You will be supporting students that have learning difficulties or a disability and making a real positive difference to their lives. This is a very rewarding role, and you should be passionate about the support you will offer to student’s future.
As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you should have:
- A degree or equivalent level qualification
- GCSE A*-C / 9 – 4 in Maths and English or equivalent as a minimum
- Experience of working with young people with SEND, ideally in a teaching capacity
- Experience of teaching employability skills and functional skills up to Level 2
