Actual Salary: up to £12,412.05
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Term-Time only                                                             
Working Hours: 22.2 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of call for queries for staff, learners, and new applicants.
  • Contacting students regarding absence
  • Taking messages for Learning Area Manager
  • Monitoring the department inbox
  • Organising and managing confidential filing and data systems
  • Organising meetings, preparing agendas and all relevant data
  • Assisting academic staff with admin duties
  • Disseminating of updates and information via student Teams and letters
  • Co-ordinating and preparing for events such as Parents Evenings, open events, taster days and any other events needed to promote and support the department.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience of previous administrative job roles.
  • The ability to support staff and students, enthuse and to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IT Literate (especially proficient in the use of Excel, Word and MS Teams)
  • Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
