The Role:
Key responsibilities:
· To support students with their learning needs, which may include aspects of their behaviour with challenges.
· To support students’ learning including: literacy and numeracy, taking of notes of lectures and support them in their use of Information Technology. This may include supporting students during online, remote teaching when required.
· To liaise with teaching staff and other Learning Support Practitioners to ensure good communication concerning the individual needs and progress of students, including the recording of relevant observation of targets.
· To supervise transport at the beginning and end of the day, dealing with cancellations and alterations when required.
· To assist teaching staff in all aspects of lesson preparation and support teaching staff in the delivery of the curriculum to students with additional learner support needs.

About You:
· Must have Level 2 English and Maths
· Must have a Learning Support or Teaching Assistant and Learning qualification Level 2 or above
· Ability and willingness to undertake personal care duties, and previous experience of supporting adults with their personal care needs.
· Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
· The ability to offer flexibility in working hours, including evenings and Saturday’s
