Here at South Thames Colleges Group, we are now seeking a Director of Digital and IT to lead and manage the development, maintenance and security of the IT infrastructure and digital systems to support curriculum delivery and management and business support services.
Working with the Deputy CEO, you will have responsibility for the development and implementation of strategies and plans that will continuously stretch us and deliver very high levels of digital performance and cybersecurity which will make a real difference to how the Group operates, how we support our students and how they learn and achieve their goals.
We’d like our Director of Digital and IT to ideally hold a degree in IT (or an equivalent qualification), hold a management qualification or be willing to work towards these and have evidence of recent and relevant CPD. You will have significant experience of managing wide-ranging IT and digital services at both strategic and operational level within a multi-site environment and have management experience in a large organisation including project management. With an understanding of the education sector, you will have strong knowledge of how the use of technology can support teaching and learning and its effective and efficient delivery and management.
With a good eye for detail and the ability to produce and analyse data and make appropriate recommendations, you’ll have highly developed communication, interpersonal and prioritisation skills and be comfortable in communicating at multiple levels within and outside of the Group, including communicating technical information to non-technical colleagues.

Preliminary interviews are planned to be held online on Thurs 17th October 2024 with final interviews on site on Weds 23rd October 2024.
