Trainer Assessor – Food & Drink (Back of house & Front of house)

Salary: £29,957 – £31,952 per annum (Scale SO1)
Location: Cannington & Taunton Campuses
This post will plan, co-ordinate, train and assess a highly effective training, learning and assessment experience across a range of apprenticeships to ensure learners maximise their potential and make positive progress and achieve timely success.
You will lead a range of courses including; professional chefs, production cookery (level 2 and level 3), hospitality (including Alcoholic Beverage Service, Barista service, Food Production, Housekeeping, Reception and Reservation booking) and hospitality supervision. Your input will be vital to ensure the apprenticeship Standards we deliver are up to date and to launch new programmes.
The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience in the food and drink sector, with specific experience of working as both back and front of house. You will be enthusiastic and passionate about education and be willing to take on additional staff development to enhance your own skills. You will also have the opportunity to drive the department forward and make a difference within a fast-growing educational sector at a successful College.
