Art Tutor (Variable Hours)

We are looking for an experienced Art Tutor who is able to teach a range of techniques including painting and drawing and art and design primarily for entry and intermediate learners from a variety of backgrounds. 

As a variable hours Tutor, you will join our bank of teaching staff and will be offered courses if and when that match your area of expertise. Hours are variable and cover daytimes, evenings and weekends. You will work closely with Programme Leaders in the designing, planning and delivering courses which stretch and challenge our learners as well as preparing a variety of learning materials, providing guidance to learners on progression options, attending termly meetings and completing course administration.

The successful candidate will have a minimum entry level teaching qualification such as the award in education or PTTLs, a relevant art qualification, experience of teaching art to learners from a variety of backgrounds. A full teaching qualification such as a PGCE would be desirable.
