Job Title: Careers & Learner Development Manager

Reference Number: ED/WAES/2190

Salary range: £40,005 – £46,053 per annum negotiable, depending on skills & experience

Hours per week: 36 hours per week

Holidays: 31 days per year
Contract type: Fixed Term for 1 Year to cover Maternity
Vetting requirements: Enhanced DBS Check

The Role:

Key responsibilities:

·         To provide impartial career information, advice, and guidance service using online platforms, cross-service events, collaboration with both internal and external partners, and face-to-face meetings

·         To lead on internal progression and careers-related activities

·         To take the lead with Careers Strategy implementation

·         To support the Head of Learner Development with the cross-service Matrix

·         To take a lead role in the day-to-day running of the Learner Hub

About You:

·         A Level 6 in Careers Advice and Guidance QCF qualification

·         Teaching qualification Level 3 (desirable)

·         An understanding of the barriers that adult learners face to finding employment

·         Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role

·         Experience in co-ordinating multi-level events and delivering activities designed to engage learners

·         Experience within the FE/Education sector
