The Priestley Academy Trust is seeking an outstanding Director of School Improvement to develop and deliver all aspects of school improvement across the Trust.
The Priestley Academy Trust is a group of six schools located in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
The Trust was formed to create a local solution in providing outstanding education and to enable our schools to work together to increase our capacity for embedding and sustaining real school improvement for the benefit of our learners.

We aim to develop all our students as both academic and well rounded, characterful young people, equipped with the understanding, attitudes, skills and behaviours necessary to succeed in life. We will strive to ensure they are prepared to succeed in higher education, employment, entrepreneurship and their family and community life.
We are seeking to appoint a Director of School Improvement Officer who will be responsible for:
· Shaping and delivering the organisation’s objectives
· Driving a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of education and leading a successful multi-academy trust.
The successful applicant will be working with the Senior Executive Group and Trustees to support improvement plans, assisting headteachers to monitor school progress and data, and monitoring the overall effectiveness of all schools to raise standards and improve outcomes for all young people.
Our ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader who can create a culture of constant improvement, deliver an exciting and challenging curriculum, and ensure the educational success of all schools within the trust.
You will have successful experience of leading or supporting schools in challenging circumstances, delivering impactful school improvement support, and managing complex changes across a school or a group of schools.
The Director of School Improvement Officer will be flexible, an excellent team player and have a high-level of interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
