Wonder Learning Partnership

Location: Trust Schools (as required)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Wonder Learning Partnership is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operations Officer to join our Trust.

Our family is one where children have a love of learning and colleagues have a real passion for teaching. Each school remains rooted within and at the heart of its community as we share our knowledge to create an exceptional learning journey for our children.

This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, operational management, and the implementation of the Trust’s vision in collaboration with the CEO and Trust Board.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the strategic vision of the Trust Board and CEO.
Manage Trust operations, leading and coaching department heads.
Support the CEO in strategic decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Lead the growth strategy, facilitating new schools joining the Trust.
Optimise systems and data for performance monitoring and improvement.
Ensure effective risk management and compliance with Trust frameworks.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, risk management, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across various domains including education, finance, people, estates, communications, and data.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work constructively as part of our wider Trust team. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making skills, capable of making informed choices by considering all potential outcomes. Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills are essential, enabling precise communication and effective data management. Your ability to plan and prioritise both your own work programmes and those of others will ensure that deadlines are met and conflicting priorities are managed efficiently.

Excellence in administrative and organisational skills is crucial for this role, as is a steadfast commitment to equality of opportunity. You should be adaptable and ready to respond swiftly to technological advancements, learning and applying new solutions as needed.
