Darlington College is a growing and highly successful college with over a 125 years’ history and a very strong reputation for high-quality education and training, serving the communities of Darlington, Durham, Tees Valley and North Yorkshire. We now seek an exceptional individual to join the college’s executive senior leadership team in the post of Assistant Principal – Curriculum.
The Role
The role will lead a team of curriculum managers across the breadth of the college, further developing the curriculum offer, responding to key local and national initiatives, enhancing the quality of provision, stakeholder satisfaction and college reputation. The successful applicant will join the college at an exciting time when we are about to enter into a new venture for adult learning within the town centre of Darlington. The role takes responsibility for achieving and continuing to grow learner numbers and funding values against targets for all types of provision across the curriculum.
The Person
The person we are looking for will be an experienced manager/senior manager who has successfully lead curriculum department(s), with a track record of demonstrable quality improvement and successful outcomes from Ofsted inspection and other audit processes. The person will also demonstrate achieving income targets across a wide range of provision. They must also have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to complement our existing executive senior leadership team.
