Course Manager and Lecturer in Drama and Theatre Studies – Fixed term for one academic year 0.4 FTE

Are you a first-class Drama and Theatre Studies lecturer who is committed to developing the skills and expertise of our future directors, performers, and writers? If so, we would love to hear from you.

You will have excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm to lead and teach A Level Drama and Theatre Studies and be passionate about supporting students secure knowledge and practical skills to progress into related employment or higher study. Alongside teaching in the performing arts curriculum you would be a personal tutor.

You will be a team player who is committed to achieving excellent quality of work and agreed performance targets and to achieving the highest standards of personal performance.

It is essential that you have previous A Level Drama and Theatre Studies teaching and course manager experience.

Contractual Details

Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,506- £38,769 pro rata per annum, depending on qualifications.

Working Time: 828 hours per annum of teaching and equivalent professional duties over 198 days, for full time posts and pro rata for part time posts. You will be expected to be on site for 34 hours per week pro rata during the whole academic year.

Contract Type: Fixed term, one year.

Pension: Teachers’ Pension Scheme

Leave entitlement: 38 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time) plus additional discretionary days at Christmas.
