Chief Executive Officer
The Unity Schools Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding, aspirational, and dynamic leader with a proven track record of sustained school improvement to join us as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). We currently have two secondary academies within our Trust with a total school role of about 1850. Both academies were rated as Good in their most recent Ofsted inspections (2017 and 2019).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make their mark in shaping our future journey which will involve both further improvement in performance within our current academies and expansion of our Trust, initially with secondary partners. We have very high aspirations for growth and academic achievement for all students that attend our academies. Our Trust is defined by ‘excellence through collaboration’. We firmly believe that with teamwork you can achieve so much more, working together with a common purpose.
We are looking for an experienced, vibrant professional with excellent strategic leadership, financial, communication and people management skills, and a proven track record of success in raising standards. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for education and student learning, a determination and commitment to continuous improvement, and a strong desire to grow our Trust.
As an exceptional leader, you will be able to deliver and lead the Unity Schools Trust’s vision and strategy. You will have the support of committed Trustees and be leading a passionate team of senior leaders across both academies and a strong corporate services team.
We are looking for someone who will be an excellent ambassador for the Trust, able to form strong productive partnerships with other schools so that they want to join our highly aspirational MAT.
We are ready for an outstanding individual to lead us into the next phase of our growth and development. Emphasis on staff wellbeing is an integral part of our culture and we provide outstanding facilities to work in.
