TRAINER (HOME BASED)

The Bell Foundation is an educational charity working to overcome exclusion through language education and is delivering its vision through three strategic programmes, the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Programme, the Criminal Justice Programme and the new English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Programme.

The Foundation has a rewarding opportunity for a full time, home based, Trainer to work within a growing, dynamic team to develop training and resources to positively impact on the effective teaching of pupils who use EAL.

Trainer: £29,217- £33,913

You will play a key role in both the development and implementation of digital, blended and face-to-face training as part of the Foundation’s EAL Programme. You will also support the Criminal Justice Programme to develop training and resources for the Criminal Justice Sector.

You will have a proven track record of running high quality EAL teacher training to schools and experience of working in a comparable role. You will have experience of creating digital content and resources and a sound understanding of what constitutes effective and evidence informed CPD.

With excellent digital, communication and interpersonal skills, you will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail and an eye for quality with the ability to critically evaluate and review.
This is a home-based role with two days per month from The Bell Foundation Cambridge office. As the EAL Programme is delivered in different regions, you need to be willing to travel across the UK.
