About the Role
You will lead in the recruitment and support of learners in their personal development, enabling them to become independent learners, who enjoy and achieve and are able to reach their full potential through both pastoral support and work placement opportunities.
The role provides individually tailored support and guidance to enable young people and adults on programmes to secure relevant and timely employability skills development through work placements.
The role covers the following areas:
- Learner Support
- Employability, Recruitment and Progression
- General Administration
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
You should also have the following:
Advice and Guidance Level 4 and/or a relevant learning support qualification.
Significant experience of working in a learning support role within the 3rd sector.
Experience of delivering support to young people and adults with a range of barriers to their success.
Experience of planning and delivering support sessions and activities to support personal, social and employability skill development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
