Norfolk County Council’s Adult Learning service is an Ofsted-rated Good Further Education learning provider. We deliver a wide range of learning programmes, from qualifications, including apprenticeships, to community learning and income generating programmes, at a wide range of venues across Norfolk.
We are seeking to recruit a highly effective and ambitious leader, with strong strategic, creative and motivational skills. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of commitment to team working. You are the type of person who enjoys driving forward change and achieving challenging targets.
You will have extensive experience of successful organizational development and management, combined with a deep and current knowledge of the Further Education sector and the successful development and delivery of a responsive and coherent curriculum to adult learners. You will offer significant experience of developing highly effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
In this role you will contribute to the vision and direction of the service and lead the service in relation to curriculum intent, implementation and impact.
You will also lead on the service’s marketing, information and communication strategies and you will manage the foundation academic teams to deliver their targets. You will be responsible for major service initiatives and developments, including the generation of new income for the service.
