Operations Director – Technical Education
37 Hours per week
Remote working is possible, however the successful applicant will be required to travel regularly to the NCFE Head Office in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Salary of £70,000-£80,000 dependant on experience

We are looking for an experienced Operations Director – Technical Education to join us on a permanent basis and take over all responsibility for the recently launched T Levels qualifications, as well as our V Cert qualifications which we develop for delivery in schools.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, with a solid understanding of the education and training ecosystem. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, pragmatic and able to drive solutions collaboratively across the whole organisation. This role requires an individual who can demonstrate a passion for ‘getting it right, first time’, ensuring that contractual obligations and the needs of customers are met, whilst retaining a central focus on high quality educational experiences and outcomes. You must be fully competent in a variety of operational leadership and management practices.
Our current focus on digital transformation means we’re changing the way we interact with our customers as well as the way we review our products and services to identify gaps in the market based on deep insight. We are looking for an inspirational leader who can translate vision into reality through influencing and managing real, positive change to deliver an impactful, first rate customer and learner journey.
This role is based in Longbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne and remote/flexible working is available.
