£21,692 – £22,220 per annum,

We are seeking to recruit an experienced equine instructor/technician to be part of the equine team at Common leys Farm campus to cover maternity leave.
You should be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in equine management and preferably hold a recognised equine instructor or coaching qualification.
The yard comprises of a range of riding horses, brood mares and youngstock so you must be able to demonstrate high standards of stable management, horse welfare and husbandry and have extensive experience of working within the industry.
You must enjoy working with young people and have proven ability to develop students’ practical skills in stable management and equitation.
Good organisation, team working and communication skills are vital for this role.
It is essential that you are able to live on site as this post includes evening yard checks. A large mobile home is provided rent free on site.
This is a full time post with weekends and bank holidays worked on a rota system for which time off in lieu is given.
