We are currently looking for a Lecturer in Applied Law, Criminology and Business (18.5 hours per week) to join our team at Walsall College on a permanent basis.

You will be expected to teach up to Level 3 in Applied Law, Criminology and Business. An ability to teach Psychology is also desirable.

Delivery of tutorials is a key part of this role, and you must be dedicated to delivering motivating and inspiring teaching and learning to unleash the potential of our students.

Participating in the interviewing, enrolment and induction of students, you will also be expected to use information on students’ starting points, such as initial assessments, to plan teaching and learning.

A Teaching Qualification, i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards) is essential for this role, alongside appropriate Law and Business qualifications.
