Exams Co-ordinator - £33,759 - £37,413 per annum – 36 hours per week
Reporting to the Head of MIS & Exams, the role will lead the day-to-day running of WAES Exams Service. With experience in exam service co-ordination and line managing staff an advantage, we are looking for a person with high-level organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communications.
A team player who is able to manage competing deadlines and internal-external stakeholder expectation. Experience of reviewing exam business processes as well as working to service standards, participating in the self-assessment process and contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan would be an advantage. This role has responsibilities to ensuring the timely processes of learners’ certificates, registration and achievement data; therefore excellent data administration skills are essential. This role is a hands on role and will suit a person who is willing to go the extra mile and when required carry out data administrator duties to ensure tight deadlines are met.
To be considered for this role, you will need a good understanding of data protection. If you are a person with excellent forward planning skills who thrives under pressure without compromising quality and able to communicate the multiple deadlines from awarding bodies to the relevant staff in advance of deadlines. We are looking to appoint a motivated professional who prides themselves in high levels of customer service, can motivate a team and lead by example with a positive and productive attitude to work. The expectation of this role is the line-manage will hold regular service meetings, one-to-ones, set individual targets based on quality improvement and lead a collaborative approach to solve the day-to-day challenges of the service. This role will, from time to time, report to WAES Management Group on Exam service matters and deputies for the Head of MIS and Exams on exam maters as required.
