Job Title: Finance & Resources Manager
Size of Post: Full Time – 36 hours per week x 52.14 weeks per annum
Grade: Local Authority conditions of service LBR Grade 10, Scale Points 30-32
Salary: £34,794 - £36,711 per annum
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced person to lead on the Institute’s financial strategy and manage financial & staffing operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced business manager to join an Outstanding adult education provider in good financial health with a national reputation for excellence. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team you will contribute to policy and actions across all operations.
You will be responsible for strategic financial planning, financial operations, budget monitoring & reporting, as well as safer recruitment, staffing and facilities. As the authorising officer for financial & payroll transactions you will have daily oversight of all finance, staffing, payroll and premises matters.
The successful candidate will have management accounting ability, strong leadership experience and excellent people skills.
