Early Years Educator Independent End-Point Assessor

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Educator independent End-Point Assessor conducting independent End-Point Assessment activities (Face 2 Face, Digital) in accordance with YMCA Awards’ iEPA SLA’s. The are a number of opportunities available, focusing on different regions of England.
Freelance role with varying hours depending on if the assessment is Face 2 Face / Digital
About the Role:
As the iEPA you will
Carry out all iEPA activities for YMCA Awards EPA of the Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
Make accurate decisions based on relevant evidence provided by Apprentices, applying relevant assessment decisions and grades where appropriate
Reviews and evaluate own and peers’ performance periodically as directed by the iQA
Provide clear and accurate feedback to apprentices on the assessment outcome and grade copying in key personal to all correspondence as specified within SLA’s
As the Early Years Educator iEPA you will need the following:
• understanding of the Early Years Educator Standard and assessment plan
• hold an independent assessor qualification e.g. A1 / D32/33
• have the capability to assess the apprentice at this level
• attend 3 or more standardisation and training events per year
