South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic teacher to join our very successful Health and Early Years team.
You will be working with a diverse student population and be expected to demonstrate excellent classroom management techniques in a fast paced environment, whilst teaching a range of topics such as Equality, Diversity and Rights, Communication, Working in the Health and Social Care Sector and many more. You will have extensive experience of working in the Health and Care Industry and be qualified to at least an appropriate first degree or equivalent. The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for implementing innovative, interactive sessions as well as acting as a Course Tutor to provide support, inspiration and guidance to our learners. It would be beneficial if you also held an Early Years qualification.
Applicants from a nursing and / or midwifery background are particularly welcome and a current Nurse qualification is desirable.
