**Making a positive impact on finance operations – new senior leadership role**

As an experienced and qualified senior professional, you will know the business importance and value of accurate, efficient and effective finance operations. In this new senior leadership role, you will oversee all financial operations of UCEM, and lead the Institution’s financial reporting, controls and planning processes. You will also be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the Institution, as well as identifying possible risks.

Using your excellent knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles, and demonstrating your professional and effective leadership skills, you will make appropriate decisions in the best interests of the Institution, with the overall aim of guiding UCEM towards profitability and long-term success. Key requirements include:

• Strong technical and operational experience within finance;
• Knowledge of charity SORP accounts;
• People management capability;
• Strong IT and finance systems skills and experience;
• The ability to clearly communicate, in person and in writing, technical financial information to non-financial stakeholder groups;
