RHACC is a Specialist Designated Institution for Adult Learning, providing a varied course offer to support the lifelong learning goals of adults. With daytime, evening, weekend and residential courses across two main campuses and in outreach venues, RHACC is able to meet a broad range of needs, and creates pathways to work and well-being.
The College is developing its Lipreading curriculum and we are looking for experienced tutors to develop and deliver a range courses in this area.
Hours are variable and cover day times, evenings and weekends. Variable Hours Tutors work closely with Programme Manager in the designing, planning and delivering courses which stretch and challenge our learners as well as preparing a variety of learning materials, providing guidance to learners on progression options, attending termly meetings and completing course administration.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and can work on their own imitative as well as being a team player.
Applicants must hold:
Lipreading teaching Skills at L4 ( Course must be approved by ATLA)
An Initial Teacher Training at L3 for example PTLLS, Award in Education and Training
A minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
