The Motor Vehicle and Agricultural Engineering area offers a range of courses and apprenticeships in motor vehicle, agricultural and plant engineering. A wide range of full and part-time land-based qualifications are offered from entry level up to level 5 (Honours Degree). Apprenticeships are also offered in most subjects. A comprehensive range of short courses is offered, many in conjunction with the College’s commercial training arm, Tyro.
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Agricultural and Motor Vehichle Engineering tutor to teach a range of General, Agricultural and Motor Vehicle Engineering subjects and assist with the co-ordination and development of Engineering courses within the Agricultural and Automotive Engineering Section.
The successful candidate will:
• Be professionally qualified in the subject area
• Possess a teaching qualification or equivalent (see below for teacher training opportunity)
• Have recent relevant industrial experience
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Be able to work flexibly
