Job Title: Apprenticeship Trainers and Assessors with Functional Skills experience
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Location: Suffolk / Norfolk based with travel
Due to an exciting new contract in the Suffolk / Norfolk area, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic work based trainers and assessors in manufacturing, logistics and leadership and management to help lead us on our journey of sustained excellence.
We are now recruiting highly motivated and suitably qualified individuals to join our dynamic national delivery team. If you are able to assess or teach in one of the following occupational areas, we would be delighted to hear from you:
. Food Production Operative
. Customer Service
. Business Administrator
. Team Leader / Supervisor
. Operations / Departmental Manager
. Improving Operational Performance (Manufacturing Operations)
Functional Skills in English and mathematics including supporting ESOL learners
Ideally you should have previous experience of training or assessing. You need not necessarily hold a recognised teaching qualification, though you will need to achieve one within a set period with our support. We are keen to attract high quality applicants direct from industry and therefore if you have no previous teaching experience, full training and support will be provided
The successful candidate must have:
. Relevant vocational experience in one of the areas outlined above
. Excellent communication skills at a range of levels, ideally to include communication with learners where English is not their first language
. Experience of developing new knowledge and skills with learners and employees
. Significant experience of highly effective management of Curriculum areas in Further Education and Skills sector
. Experience of working at different levels and across the business to support and aid development.
. A full teaching qualification and understanding of the role of the Assessor and the IQA or willing to achieve this in the first 12 months in post.
