Bradford College has an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced lecturer in Textile Design to join the team at Bradford School of Art. You will teach on BA and FdA programmes with a specific focus on textiles programmes but may also contribute to delivery across the wider art school. You will be fundamental in achieving the College's commitment to transform students' lives.
The successful candidate
The ideal candidate will have a degree in textile design with a specialism in printed textiles/surface pattern. Confident use of both traditional screen print and digital software for print and pattern design is essential, as is a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. Experience of other textile/craft discipline areas is also very welcome as we encourage a multi-disciplinary approach to design.
You will be adept at delivering results in a cross college environment as well as highly motivated, able to work on your own initiative and solution oriented. You will be capable of managing a high workload and be able to prioritise and delegate effectively in order to ensure all deadlines are met.
This post requires a proactive and self-motivated individual, who can operate in a flexible manner to join us as an integral part of our academic team.
