Learner Services Manager/ Deputy Safeguarding Officer
PTS training academy are currently experiencing unprecedented growth having secured substantial Levy training contracts through large organisations across a range of sectors.
We have an exciting opportunity for an education specialist with experience of Safeguarding practices or other educational experience enabling the support and development of learners across a wide range of disciplines. Individuals should have experience of working with a range of students, stakeholders with highly developed communication skills.
The post holder will also be expected to deal with a variety of safeguarding cases (including child protection) and liaise with external support agencies representing the business confidently and to deputise for the Safeguarding Lead.
Responsibilities will include; ensuring that staff undertake relevant safeguarding training to support the understanding of their responsibilities, developing training materials for learners developing the knowledge of Prevent, British values and Equality and Diversity.
Essential to the role is the coordination of learner voice mechanisms, liaising with a variety of stakeholders and employers in obtaining feedback, and analysing results which can be used to inform the Self-Assessment process and to facilitate improvements across the organisation.
The range of administrative duties will encompass, the coordination of quality audits, individual action plans, policies and procedures relating to the area and monitoring of observation schedules.
Some travel may be required to delivery sites across England.
