Responsible for: Quality Management
Liaise with: External Agencies, Learners, Freelance Staff, Awarding Bodies, Subcontractors, External Verifiers, Project Partners, Ofsted and Funding Bodies.


Purpose of the role

This is a Leadership role within the operations team of SCCU, contributing to the strategic management and development of all aspects of the Quality and Curriculum areas.


Role

To provide leadership, management, and direction for teaching and learning, curriculum development and the provision of a high-quality learner experience
To provide effective leadership and management, ensuring consistent efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of service to learners at every level
To act as first-line manager for allocated staff, ensuring that staff are effectively managed, deployed and developed and that the companies and operational targets are achieved
To lead the development and delivery of an innovative and visionary curriculum, ensuring that the curriculum portfolio is effectively managed, developed, reviewed and consistently improved
To drive quality initiatives and ensure key performance indicators are met and consistently improved upon
To represent SCCU internally and externally
To contribute to the development and achievement of SCCU’s funded and commercial targets
