Area Manager – Fenland and Huntingdonshire
Based in March
Grade P2 - £37,320 - £40,198
Cambridgeshire Skills, formerly Cambridgeshire Adult Learning and Skills Service (CALSS), is seeking to appoint a full-time, enthusiastic and highly motivated Area Manager to assist in providing high quality, responsive and accessible learning opportunities in Cambridgeshire.
Currently operating as a traditional adult and community learning service, CALSS has recently been taken through a fundamental review. Following the outcome of this review, the Service is now going through a process of major change, realigning the focus of work to effectively respond to the needs and demands of the local communities, Combined Authority and Cambridgeshire County Council.
This is an exciting time for the Service. We are looking for a talented professional to become an essential member of the Senior Leadership Team in steering the Service in this new model.
Within this role you must be ambitious, enjoy working to high standards whilst treating all students, staff, colleagues and partners with humanity and respect and able to:
Be brave, discovering what’s possible, pushing the limits and seeking out new opportunities.
Commit to each and every student, ensuring they are supported to reach their potential and be inspired to achieve.
Understand the new Ofsted framework and the importance of curricular design and knowing what outstanding looks like.
This is an exciting and innovative phase of the Service’s development and we are seeking to appoint an Area Manager who is equally eager and motivated by this opportunity and challenge.
Closing date midday on Monday 2nd September August 2019. Interviews are expected to be held on Thursday 19th September in March Community Centre.
