YMCA Awards have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager, based in the Southern regions of the UK. This is a critical role and you will be working in a highly competitive, target driven environment to promote the take up of YMCA Awards products and services.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the Director of Awards in the following areas; business development, communications, regulatory compliance, bid writing, creating project plans and crafting proposals to secure complex, high value commercial opportunities and partnership arrangements.
•Have the ability to gain trust and respect for your professionalism with YMCA Awards customers, key stakeholders and the wider Awards team.
•Have the ability to understand and analyse situations with current and prospective customers and adapt communication accordingly, offering advice, support and guidance.
•Have confidence working in a target driven environment and a drive to create opportunities and maximise sales growth.
•Self-motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to work using your own initiative and to build and maintain strong working relationships.
