We have a new and exciting role for a Helping in Schools Sessional Tutor
Key areas of responsibility:
To deliver a range of programmes in various locations across West Midlands.
Courses to be delivered sit within our Schools and Parenting Pathway and includes short one off tasters to full Level 2 accredited qualifications.
Our Pathway consists of courses that help parents learn about supporting their children who has SEN or with English and maths and also includes courses about different roles within a school such as becoming a teaching assistant.
To deliver courses within our Schools and Parenting Pathway. You will be responsible for the teaching, learning and assessment of each student.
You will need to be a qualified teacher (CertEd, DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) and have experience of working in a school. Knowledge of SEN and SpLD is desirable. You will need to be able to use a VLE to support the teaching and learning of your students, or be willing to undertake training to do so.
