Lecturer in Applied Science
Salary: Up to £39,427
Burnley College are seeking a Lecturer in Applied Science to promote and provide an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students. You will teach effectively on a range of programmes with a specialism of Chemistry across the Division’s Curriculum.
As a Lecturer, you will contribute fully to divisional and College teams including sharing best practice and being involved in developing the curriculum. You will assure full compliance within the Division and more broadly across the College with key policies, notably the Student Code of Conduct, Single Equality, Health and Safety and Safeguarding.
You will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.
With a degree level qualification in a relevant discipline, ideally you will already hold a PGCE or Certificate in Education. You will take have knowledge of current issues in Health and Social Care relating to the curriculum area.
