An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven professional to work within Nacro. This is a key new strategic leadership role based at Totton College near Southampton, and as part of the wider Nacro charity, one of the largest not for profit independent training providers.

Nacro’s Apprenticeship Hub are seeking to appoint a Head of Apprenticeships and Commercial to further enhance the growth of our apprentice and work related learning provision, helping businesses develop their employees creating a motivated and skilled workforce.


Who we are looking for?

The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of results in both sales and in quality. They will develop a clear strategy for successful working with the Campus Lead/ Vice Principal at Totton. They will have responsibility of bringing in new business and for managing the effective delivery of all apprenticeship provision, ensuring that apprentices and employers have an outstanding experience of working with Totton and Nacro. We are looking for someone who has a proven ability to establish new relationships and develop existing partnerships with local and regional employers. The appointee will ensure that we respond effectively to employer needs, growing and adapting offers to fit with demands ensuring that exceptional levels of quality and service are achieved in line with our high aspirations.

The candidate needs to be an excellent manager, ensuring effective programme management and the delivery of inspirational teaching, learning and assessment to meet the expectations of industry and Apprenticeship reforms. Effective organisational skills, time management and resilience are all key traits required for this role.


Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

. Develop existing business relationships and secure new business opportunities.
. Manage the performance of the overall apprenticeship business
. Deliver outstanding leadership skills to ensure that all apprentices achieve their maximum potential
. Enhance and implement a clear strategy for success in Apprenticeship delivery
