Barnet and Southgate College is currently looking for a self-motivated individual with a “can do” attitude to enhance the Technology Innovation and Development department.
The successful applicant will be required to promote the College’s vision of an embedded e-learning environment, and provide day-to-day technical and administrative support for all staff across a plethora of learning technologies, including Moodle, Office 365 and G Suite.
You will be the first point of contact for staff and students, ensuring that the e-learning material is compliant together with identifying problems, making improvement to existing development processes, templates, and selection and delivery tools. You will also provide training and support in the use of online technology, investigate and analyse every day technical problems.
This post will appeal to an experienced, skilled and highly motivated individual wishing to support learning and development for a diverse and rapidly evolving workforce. Your track record in using learning technology to support organisational and workforce development and your willingness to be part of a dynamic team able to translate organisational priorities into effective learning solutions will be essential in this role.
You will have a good personal manner and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills, and be highly organised. You must be committed, enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated and responsible. You will be able to effectively manage and organise your own time, identify project goals and plan to achieve them.
The post holder will be required to work 36 hours a week across all College sites and training venues.
