The School of Health has over 700 learner enrolments each academic year. This specific role is within the Dental Technician department and with special emphasis on supporting Higher Education students to progress and achieve in their studies.
Our Dental Technology department is focused on ensuring students gain the practical skills & expertise to forge a path of employment within the industry, meeting standards for the General Dental Council (GDC). From 2019 we will have 3 full cohorts of dental technology learners undertaking Higher Education accredited courses, the College itself is currently graded as ‘Gold’ standard for HE within Teaching Excellent Framework (TEF).
You will work closely with the course teaching team, ensuring that students have the greatest experience of learning, through supporting the set-up, delivery and maintenance of resources for Dental Technology practical sessions enabling all learners the opportunity to progress and develop. You will have an ability to manage student progress and have a commitment to a student-centred approach, whilst maintaining the highest standards of equipment and personal safety of students.
