Macclesfield College is seeking an enthusiastic and efficient PTHP Lecturer in Counselling.
Working in collaboration within the Maxim Business Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective teaching, learning and assessment to learners within the Counselling programme across all levels up to Level 4.
An effective communicator, who can work well within a team, you will have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work well under pressure.
The successful candidate will need to hold a degree or equivalent appropriate vocational qualification, and possess BACP membership.
Ideally, you will also possess a teaching qualification (or have a willingness to undertake a formal teaching qualification to the required national standards). IQA qualified or equivalent is also desirable.
Literacy and numeracy at Level 2 or equivalent and ITQ is also a requirement of the role, or a willingness to work towards attaining these qualifications in a timely manner.
