Deputy Head of C-Stem
Full-time - Permanent
Salary - £45,143
Barnsley College wishes to appoint a dynamic and committed Deputy Head to its C-Stem department.
The Deputy will support the new Director in providing leadership and line management direction for Construction and Engineering provision from 14-16 provision to HE in FE, including both class-based and employer responsive provision. You will be responsible for developing the delivery and performance managing staff, as well as optimising student recruitment and maximising both performance and outcomes for these programmes.
The department, based at our Honeywell campus CUBE centre and Old Mill Lane STEM Centre, encompasses 14-19 Learner Responsive, Employer Responsive and HE provision across Construction crafts, building services, construction technical, electronic engineering, electrical engineering, motor vehicle and computing.
The vision to be able to create curriculum that meets these priorities is key, as well as being able to develop provision that meet the needs of employers and provides.
