POST TITLE: Quality Development Advisor

POST REFERENCE: QUALA-001

SALARY: £36,491 to £39,514 per annum inclusive of London Weighting

HOURS: 36 hours per week, 52 week per year

LOCATION: Main Site –Wood Street but the post-holder is expected to work mainly in the locations of the college partners and Wood Street Campus Enterprise and Employment department.

This is a new and exciting role adding to the college’s Quality Department team. The college is committed to providing high quality services to all its customers, both internal and external. We need a dynamic and self-motivating person to support and advise our Enterprise and Employment department in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement practices to deliver high quality provision. This post will work with the team to support continuous improvement in a systematic approach to managing the quality of provision of our external partners. You will need to have skills that can clearly identify/manage appropriately informed target setting, regular monitoring and review activities that enable judgements to be made about progress towards agreed targets, and the development of quality improvement plans to secure the achievement of these targets and provision. Other requirements are to use your knowledge and expertise of teaching, learning and assessment, to confidently undertake lesson observations (we deliver a variety of qualifications), give feedback against standards and to coach individuals/teams to encourage positive improvement and share best practice.
