Liverpool City Council’s Adult Learning Service is part of the Employment and Skills Service that engages, supports and progresses residents into learning, employment and broader positive progression outcomes. The Service is ambitious and striving to be outstanding.
We are looking to recruit to the senior management team. We are looking for an inspiring and innovative Employment Learning and Skills Pathway Manager, with vision and expertise of working in the community learning sector.
The post holder will have extensive experience in developing a dynamic and innovative curriculum, up to date knowledge on as well as experience in leading high-quality provision in line with Ofsted requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing, developing and implementing the Learning and Skills Curriculum Pathway and commissioning within the Service’s strategic framework.
The Employment Learning and Skills Curriculum Pathway Manager will be expected to successfully lead and manage all income targets, budgets and achievement of high quality outputs including newly devolved Adult Educating Budgets (AEB), Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), and other Council/Project funding streams.
You will be leading the deployment of staff and resources to support the successful planning and delivery of the Learning and Skills Curriculum Pathway.
