An exciting opportunity for a dedicated, inspiring and committed Deputy Head of School has arisen in one of the country’s largest Colleges. This is an opportunity for an ambitious educator to really make their mark in an exciting and forward-thinking FE college, and to prove themselves in management and leadership role. The successful candidate will support and deputise for the Head of School- Engineering & Logistics to ensure the successful running of the curriculum area, providing local leadership of teaching, learning and assessment and supporting the development and effective implementation of the school’s curriculum offer. In addition to experience in managing professional construction (curriculum/industry), you must be educated at least to a Degree level in one of the following subject areas: Civil Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, and Building Services Engineering.

We are a leading and long established Engineering & Logistics school that offers high quality courses from level 1 up to Level 5 in Engineering, Motor Vehicle (MV) and Construction & the Built Environment (CBE). Our courses are focused on ensuring students gain the practical skills & expertise to forge a path of employment in the Engineering, MV and CBE industries. In order to facilitate this we have a dedicated team of experienced and outstanding lecturers with an excellent working knowledge of Engineering, MV and CBE.

Further to this, the courses have been designed by staff to provide a creative and supportive environment with a commitment to diversity and inclusion to help all students reach their potential.
