Senior Programme Manager - Skills Competitions
WorldSkills UK is recruiting a Senior Programme Manager who will be responsible for the planning and management of a UK wide programme of skills competition activities for apprentices and students. They will manage the operation and services delivered through the WSUK network to improve the credibility and standard of our activities. They will also lead the dissemination of good practice from our provision to raise attainment levels and improve productivity across business and education in the UK.
The Senior Programme Manager will lead a team of competition managers who each manage the delivery of industry relevant skills competitions activities. This role will develop and manage the programme of activities that continually fosters improved working practices, new ways of working and a sustainable national framework of skills competition activities to champion individuals to succeed in work and life.
The successful candidate will have track record in managing programmes and working across multi-stakeholder projects and activities in education or business. The post will have responsibility of a great team of managers and an external network of enthusiastic individuals, so the candidate must have strong leadership skills and experience in developing highly effective working relationships.
