Skills Development Coach
The Growth Company’s Education and Skills service is one of the largest providers of work-based learning and apprenticeships in the North West, and operates across the UK, working with over 1,200 employers directly generating apprenticeship vacancies and looking after more than 2,500 learners on a variety of apprenticeship and other programmes. The Growth Company’s Education and Skills service also provides traineeships and programmes for young people who need additional support to achieve their career goals.
We are looking for Assessor’s (Skills Development Coaches) across a number of disciplines including customer service, business administration, finance, health & social care, professional services, construction, automotive and manufacturing to deliver an effective and efficient assessment processes that enable our learners to progress towards and achieve identified milestones in a timely manner. The role holder will be responsible for providing support for learners in line with their individual needs, provide appropriate IAG and refer for additional support to ensure that individual learners continue to progress towards their objectives.
The successful candidate will need:
Assessor qualifications (TAQA/ A Units)
Experience of devising, planning implementing and evaluating assessment and learning strategies
Experience of working within Internal Quality Assurance Policies and Procedure
Experience in Assessment and Internal Quality Assurance
Location: Across Greater Manchester
