An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering team and work within a dynamic environment.
We are looking for a committed and dedicated person with experience of working in the Mechanical Engineering Industry to deliver Mechanical Engineering courses to NVQ Level 3 apprentices, Level 1 – 3 FT learners and L3 – 4 Btec learners at South Staffordshire College.
The successful applicant will be required to prepare, deliver and assess various aspects of Mechanical Engineering programmes for apprentices and full time learners studying on maintenance, manufacturing, fabrication & welding and Technical pathways.
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a relevant teaching qualification or be working towards one (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed), together with a minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject area. You should have recent experience of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum and be fully conversant with 2D and 3D CAD delivery to students.
If you have an assessor and/or verifier award this would be considered advantageous.
