• Tutor Assessor – Horticulture (Salary £23,746 - £30,043)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be ideally qualified to Level 3 in Horticulture, hold a recognised teaching qualification such as PTTLS/Cert Ed or equivalent and be an experienced assessor. An IQA qualification is desirable.
As a Tutor Assessor in Horticulture, you will:
• Have prior teaching experience or experience of working within the horticulture industry.
• Have a proven track record of a high standard of work and industry experience with a passion to inspire in teaching those interested in horticulture; have the ability to apply IT in the workplace and be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team member.
• Have experience of working in work based learning.
Prior experience of delivery training and assessment in relation to golf greenkeeping, groundsmanship, parks, gardens and greenspace, landscape and cemetery alongside previous vocational experience would be a strong advantage.
As part of this role you will be required to initiate, develop and manage customer relationships with employers, in line with the sector strategy, maintaining an up to date knowledge of sector developments. You will also maintain an excellent success rate ensuring that students are given a positive and exciting journey throughout their Apprenticeship programme.
You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your specialist area with up to date CPD.
