We are looking for an exceptional NQT to join our team. If you are an outstanding trainee teacher looking for an opportunity to make your mark in transforming a school with huge capacity for improvement, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are recruiting NQTs across all of our departments.

The school is under new leadership and joined United Learning in October 2016. This position provides the ideal opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic teacher with vision to help shape an ethos of care, respect, high achievement and challenge. The last Ofsted inspection in 2015 judged the school as ‘requiring improvement’ but the school has already started its journey of rapid progress and we are confident in being an outstanding school in the future. Over the last two years, results have increased dramatically from 40% to 69% of students gaining 5+ good passes including English and Maths and the Progress 8 score has improved from -0.45 to +0.41.

We are looking for NQTs in all subjects and you will receive phenomenal support as you continue to develop your practice. Additionally, the senior and middle leadership teams at The Totteridge Academy strongly believe in giving autonomy to outstanding teachers and are always open to creative and innovative ideas.

At The Totteridge Academy we believe that the best teachers are continuously striving to improve. We are committed to developing our people and, as part of the largest group of academies and independent schools in the country, we offer unrivalled professional development and career progression.

This is an exciting time to join The Totteridge Academy; if you share our high expectations and are passionate about making a difference then we look forward to receiving your application.
