Due to expansion of our current provision, the Adult and Community Learning Department are seeking a variety of Markers/IV Assessors for our Level 2 distance learning courses in the following sectors:
Adult Health & Social Care
Childcare
Wellbeing

You will provide individual and differentiated learner support that facilitates student progression through L2 Certificates ‘by distance’. This may be through on-line/telephone tutorials and emails. The progress of students will be monitored through the marking of Student Workbooks and providing detailed, written feedback that facilitates achievement.

It is essential that you have current knowledge and skills for the subject area in which you are assessing, and an assessing/verifying qualification is desired.

Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care
Principles of Care Planning
Certificate in Falls Prevention Awareness
Introducing Caring for Children and Young People
Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
Certificate in Common Childhood Illnesses
Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
Certificate in Counselling Skills
Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities
Working with People with Mental Health Needs
