We have an exciting opportunity at Southend Adult Community College for an hourly paid Tutor of Crafts to join our Community Learning team. This role will also include Outreach work.

The purpose of this role is to teach and engage with our learners, in order to give them the skills they need to grow within their personal development course. To do this successfully you:

• Will need to be passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching in the subject specialism
• Will have up to date occupational experience and relevant subject qualifications
• Will have previous experience of curriculum delivery and a track record of successful learner outcomes
• Will need to have a Diploma in Education and Training at Level 3 (or be willing to obtain this within 1 year)

We offer excellent support, training and mentoring to all new members of staff.

This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
