Job Ref:

The Shared Learning Trust is a successful multi-academy trust in Luton and Dunstable. We currently comprise five academies and have plans to grow and add further academies to our educational family.

I thought it might be helpful to provide some additional notes on the role, as you make up your mind about whether to apply.

We are currently looking to recruit two experienced HR Advisors initially on a 12-month contract with one position supporting our secondary academies and one position supporting our primary academies. These roles have been created due to a colleague going on maternity leave and the expansion of the trust. However, these roles have the potential to be made permanent at the end of the fixed period. This is a highly varied and diverse role where no two days are the same, you will have the chance to continue to grow and gain experience within a highly successful trust and dedicated HR team.

We are looking for two HR Advisors to provide a comprehensive and professional service to line management and employees with advice, information and practical guidance concerning HR issues, including employment legislation and policy related matters. You will understand the role of a true generalist HR Advisor and will be able to work to tight deadlines delivering results when required. You will be able to implement and support organisational change and coach and support employees at all levels as well as complete the paperwork associated with a generalist.

This role has a strong focus on employee relations and transactions. The rewards are a strong market salary and the opportunity to develop a career in a successful trust where your only career limitation is your ambition.

For the right person, I promise you it’s going to be a great job.
